Checkin in...

I guess it's about time, huh?! I dont have anything new to post, no freebies, and no layout although I do have some done, I havent had the chance to scan the photos and add. Easter is over, but my orders have not stopped coming in. Today was turtle day, they are my favorite candy. I didnt get too much done since they were finishing up the tile on the walls and it took some time to clean up. I had told them I would not be in the shop today, so they did not clean up, thinking I would not be there. Soon they will be done with the work and there will be no more dust to clean up. Im soo very happy with my shop, having everything in one place makes everything go faster. I hope to be able to post a layout or freebie this week but I wont promise anything cause Im still quite busy.

What a day...

Im very late today, what a day I have had. I wont bore you with the details but lets just say I dont want another day like this for a long time. I wont be around much for the next three weeks, but I will try to get here every few days and share some of my layouts (if I have time to do any) and some freebies when I can. This is the busiest season for my candy making. Orders are coming in and I will be workin my fingers to the bone...LOL! I really love it and it keeps me out of trouble right?! Hubby says I need that last part but I say Im just a little naughty. I did do a new layout for today, but I havent had a chance to go scan the pictures yet so it will have to wait for tomorrow. Here is another oldie (not that old...lol) This is my daughter at this year's family reunion. She volunteered to be the "water girl" they took the hose to her as well as some water balloons. Ok...now for a freebie...How about an iced cookie alpha? It didnt turn out as I planned, but I hope you can use it. I enjoyed playing with it.

I didnt have time for a new layout yesterday, so here is an older one I did a little bit ago. This is my daughter at a friend's first birthday party. Her friend had dug into her cake and then decided to put it on Meg's face. She didn't know whether to laugh or cry, but started to laugh when we all did. It's hard to believe that that was almost 15 years ago...wow...time is just flying by.

If you like it and would like it in a different color, just let me know in the comments on the download page and I will work on it for you. I am working on some other colors right now, but I'd like to know what you think. Thanks :)

Good Morning

The sun is shining brightly here this morning. I had a bit of a late start just because I couldnt sleep last night, so I slept in a bit this morning. My shoulders were really hurting me so at 5am my hubby was rubbing some aspercreme on them. I was able to get a few hours sleep after that. (Thanks Les!) My layout for today is our dog Rosie, She will be 10 years old in May. She is an old girl but still loves to run and play like a pup. If my hubby goes out and leaves her in, oh my, she will walk around to every door and window crying.

An Early Morning??

More like a late night...LOL! I had been playing with this layout for awhile and I couldn't stop til I finished it. This is our other cat, Sulley. He is such a cutie and very much a love bug. He loves when you pay attention to him and will follow you around the house to get it. When he REALLY wants attention he jumps up on my computer table. He knows I dont like when he does it and it guarantees him that I will pick him up and love him a bit. He loves his name and will roll around on the floor if you just say it...isn't he soooo cute?!

A Quiet Morning

It was a very quiet morning today. Hubby and daughter went to a coin show so I spent my morning playing, trying to be creative. This is one of our cats, his name is Zero. Although both our cats have some attitude, Zero thinks he is this big ferocious cat but in reality he is a big softie. He comes to me for a kiss every mornin. He knows he is very loved.

Repost of Alpha

Sorry guys...I forgot something in the alpha, so here is the new link to download

TGIF!!!

Yes, I am glad it is Friday and it is snowing here and I love that too! Most people complain about the snow around here but not me, I just tell them to move south...LOL! We havent been getting much snow over the last few years and I have missed it. We are having one of those pretty snows where it sticks to the tree branches and just looks soo beautiful. The ice will be starting soon and that part Im not too happy with, rather have the snow. My hubby is home so I guess I will post a layout with him in it...LOL...he really hates this so makes me want to do it even more...hahaha.

Im late!

I had a busy day today catching up on some of my chores around the house. Im beat now...LOL! This adorable little face belongs to one of my bestest friends. It's her grandsome and he is just gorgeous! I bet there will be more layouts with this face, but my computer crashed and these were the only two pics of him I had.

Not much to say on a Tuesday...

Truck day went well, we had a good driver and we got done in no time. I took him some homemade candy and a brownie, it gave him a big smile. Everyone here is still coughing and sniffling, but I think a little less today. I am taking care of the neighbors cats while he is away and this morning Gizmo actually let me pick her up and was rubbing against my legs. She is such a cutie! In fact...here she is...

I finished this layout this morning. It is of my precious little gift from heaven who isn't so little anymore but just as precious as ever.

It's Truck Day...Yay!

It's truck day! I always love truck day even though it's normally kind of a hectic day. We each have our job on truck day, mine is counting and checking off the order, then helping to load our truck. Meg stacks the cookies in the warehouse and loads our truck and Les does a bit of everything. I just love it when the tractor trailer pulls up to our warehouse even though I know there is some work ahead. We sometimes get help on truck day, I always say it's easy cause you can have all the cookies you could eat...LOL! This layout was inspired by truck day...

Another one done

I managed to finish all but one layout that have been waiting for their finishing touches. I seem to be stuck on the other one so I will have to work on it another time. This one is of my Grandmom, I love the vintage pictures and making layouts with them. The background papers and some elements are from Kimberly Stewart's Down to Earth kit for 3 Scrapateers. Kimmi gave me this kit as a Christmas gift, its awesome...Thank you Kimmi! The vintage elements are made by Anneli from Happy Scrappy. If you've never been to her site, be sure to check it out, she does some awesome work!

The next is a layout of my Grandmom's sister who I called Nana. I was actually closer to her than my Grandmom and loved spending weekends at her house.

The vintage elements are made by Anneli from Happy Scrappy

The next is a layout of my Great Uncle Evie, my Grandmom and Nana's brother. I never met him, he died before I was born. He ran the family's grocery store in Reading, PA.

Lost

I finished this layout but not with the pictures I wanted. I seem to have misplaced about a year of my daughter's life somewhere. I can see the pictures Im missing in my mind but have no idea what I've done with them. When I find them I will use this kit again. So what was supposed to be pics of Meg with her painted lady butterflies turned into pics of my favorite flowers in my garden last spring. They were really pretty and deserved to be displayed...LOL!The kit used is called Whispering Garden by Lindsay Jane Designs for Scrapbook-Bytes.

Nothing better to do...

...than work on a layout when you aren't feeling good. My throat is really sore so I worked on my one-letter challenge for 3 Scrapateers. Tonight I will work on finishing some layouts that I just have a few things to add.

This layout is some pics of my daughter with her cousin spending some girl time together. Its really neat to look through their old pics and see how much they have changed.

The kit used is Fanciful by Kimberly Stewart for 3 Scrapateers.

It happened...

Yes, I woke up with a cold. I knew I was doomed, everyone else here had it. The boys went home a little bit ago and already it is quieter but maybe a little too quiet. We sure do enjoy them being here but having had only a girl, I am not used to the hyper-ness of boys. Meg is still pretty sick, might be time for a doctor visit if she isnt any better tomorrow. She rarely gets sick but has been hit with colds this season pretty often and they seem to stick with her. She was feeling better on Friday but yesterday she said she felt pretty bad and today she even looks bad.

This layout is one I did of my hubby and I, I called it Destiny. The background papers were taken from Antiquities by Kim Liddard for Digital Scrapbook Place, the elements were taken from Believe in Magic and Champagne Wishes by Lauren Bavin for Digital Scrapbook Place.

Not a good day so far...

Ok...not an extremely bad day either but woke up in a bad mood with a head splitting headache, cant even see straight. I sure hope it will go away soon. We've got a housefull of sickies, my hubby and my daughter are sick, my nephew Jake is sick and my nephew Noah is getting over being sick. Even though they aren't feeling well, they are enjoying spending the weekend here. Im the only one that hasn't caught this latest cold. Im taking Airborne hoping to skip this cold. Speaking of my nephews...here is a layout I did of them...

The Kit used is Kimberly Stewart's Loverboy from 3 Scrapateers.

Two more for tonight...

It's way past my bedtime, but I wanted to get just a few more up before I hit the pillow.

These were both done with Kimberly Stewart's Tomorrow Kit of 3 Scrapateers. The first are our critters, Our two cats Sulley and Zero and our dog Rosie. the next is my daughter Meg with her friend Katie.

That worked....

Sometimes nothing I try works...LOL! Well I managed to get my first post posted...yay! So now I will start with my older layouts and work on getting them all up here.

This was my first ever layout. I made it in November of 2007. It's filled with wonderful memories of my mom.

The kit used is Tomorrow by Kimberly Stewart of 3 Scrapateers.

Now Ive done it....

I've decided to try a new blog. Hopefully I will keep up with this one. I wanted somewhere to post my digi-scrap layouts and this seemed as good a place as any right?! Here is my newest layout. More to post in the days to come...
